Hello Everyone.

It has been 3 days since moving our girls Bell and Hazel into their new home a 2x5 C&C cage which uses vet bed as a bedding.
Problem the girls keep digging and going under the vet bed making it pointless and a bit dangerous as it is a way to heavy on them and way too hot on top of them if they are under for too long.

Any suggestions on how to stop them from going under?
Any suggestions why they are doing it, to begin with?
They have 3 houses, a tunnel, 2 food bowls, 1 water bottle, hay and 4 different types of toys.

Any help would be fantastic.
Thank You :)

Lol my girls tunnel their fleece, just them making trouble :))

Could you put a heavy object on each corner? Like a rock of sorts etc. I've never used vetbed before so I'm not sure how easily damaged it is.

I could try putting rocks on each side. At the moment we have bowls each side and house on the other side. In an attempt to keep them out but so far unsuccessful It seems almost like a game for the girls haha

Oh you have my sympathy. Mine are horrors for this. I now have to pin my fleece every six inches or so to stop them getting under. One will pull a gap in the fleece whilst the other one wriggles in. Mine comes up the side of the correx and down the other side. I had to abandon the idea of a pad just on the base altogether.
