Hi all,
Just checked on my pigs for the day and thought to bring this up, chess' ear as got these end bits on and I've also just noticed a tiny (less than 2mm dia) green patch on her nose, is this something I should get checked out by a vet?

It may be that’s how her ear is. But there’s no harm having it looked at by the vet. Does it look ‘new’?

So this evening I had chess out to check on her nose, and when I checked her nose and wiped it gently with a tissue, a green pus like substance was left on the tissue, I'm gonna play it safe and try get her an appointment with the vets

Been to the vets, the vets said it could be mites or a parasite of some description so we've got Xeno to treat them both and another trip in 3 weeks to check on progress :)

Is it normal for their fur to still look like this around 18 hours after applying it?

They keep giving me dirty looks 🤣

Yep that’s ok. It does take a couple of days to look normal again
