So I'm sort of a new guinea pig owner. Ive had my little guy for a few months now and I'm LOVING it! But, he's been sick quite a bit. I had to get him checked up because he had the beginnings of a URI. (He's tons better now!) Although, he still twitches his head.
Well, I've made him a nice pillow thats super soft and fluffy, but whenever he climbs on it, it looks like he really wants to lay down and relax on it, but he starts having twitching fits where he falls over. It doesnt look like popcorning, either.
Could it be because of ear mites? And if so, how can I treat it? Or, could it be the fabric?

Thanks so much for any help you guys can give me!

I agree best to get him to a vet if you are sure he isn't popcorning. Is he scratching at all? does his head seem upright or slightly tilted?

He scratches, but he doesnt scratch that often. And he only falls over on the pillow. And I live kinda in the middle of nowhere, and there arent any guinea oig gets around for hours. So I was wondering if there was anything I could do personally to help him.

Without knowing what is I would say no, if he seems in pain you can keep the lights dim but if something is wrong the longer you wait the worse it may get

:DHello and welcome to the forum!
If it is an inner ear problem he's got, you are best leaving it well alone and getting him to a vet. Please don't try putting anything in his ears, you don't really know what you are doing. And you could do more harm than good. How does he get about on flat ground? Can he walk straight? If it is a very soft pillow, maybe he just can't stand up straight on it. Perhaps he IS just pop-corning. Different piggies can pop-corn to varying degrees.

When hes on solid ground he does fine (with just a tiny bit of jumping). He runs around happily and wears himself out. He does jump and squeak, but I figured thats popcorning, because he only does it when he sees me move or stand up. (Cause hes spoiled rotten and gets treats sometimes)
I was thinking it was ear mites because he scratches his ear sometimes and for a while after I got him back from the vet, he flipped his head.

It sounds like he may feel unsteady on the pillow. If he seems sensitive around his ears though it would be best to get him checked.
