How big does a guinea pig run have to be in centimetres ? I have asked my grandad to make me a hutch and run but I don't know the minimum, can anyone help.

Look at standard sizes online. You may want bigger as you can really. More space the better esp as you can choose size!
 
We always recommend bigger the better. Minimum I would say is 4ft length for the hutch part, go for 5ft if you can, width say 2.5ft. In terms of the actual run, I would make it the width of the hutch and a good 5-6ft outwards. If you can understand what I mean. There are quite a few sites online showing various set ups. One thing to think about is access to the hutch when the run is attached so perhaps a foldable run that can be unhooked from the hutch itself to aid cleaning, and of course don't forget a cleaning type drawer or access for cleaning.
 
I built my own using a load of old fencing that was replaced on my estate, the workmen let me keep it, it saved them taking it away. ;)
