Piggie or Piggy!

Ok so my partner and I are arguing (nicely) which is the preffered way to spell piggie! I’ve always gone with ie. What’s your preffered way?

I use piggy for actual pigs. I don’t know why. Lol

I'd say piggy for 1 or piggies for more than 1. My elderly mum calls them pigglywigglypiggles, while my pedantic younger piggy fans insist on saying guinea pigs and not abbreviating it ever

I always use PIGGY , don’t even know why
