Pig shopping

Almost bought a new cage...which would have meant more pigs! Decided to sleep on it...again...hmmmm its just a matter of time lol.

BUT I got my boys a igloo type thing from the hollybush garden centre. Popped in p@h to see if they had any rescue piggies but there was only one and he was apparently "a biter". Not good for my little girl. However, I had a nose to see how much their version of the igloo was...£7 odd! I paid £2-£3 at the hollybush and my boys love it. Their shoe box died a death I'm afraid so needed a more stable replacement...

So...where do people do their pig shopping? I want a BIG BIG hutch but not having much luck
 
Hiya!

I got my new hutch from P@H and didn't think their hutches were too bad, but i'd also put a few on "watch" on Ebay, they were reduced because they weren't going to be available until August, they were mahoooosive!

I also find Preloved has a lot of huge yet cheap hutches that are probably just in need of a good disinfect/clean xx
 
Claire, I'd looked at one very similar on my travels, except it had higher legs. Just tossing up the need for two levels. My boys like the split level and use it to get away from each other. However because that one is so long, I don't think it'd be an issue. Been looking at some of those links but my phone doesn't like the rabbithutch one and I can't view the larger pictures, will have a mooch later.

My boys haven't been out for a couple of days because of various reasons, mainly that now Adi seems to be shaking off his fungus infection I'm trying to build up the trust again as I think he came to associate me with having creams and lotions slapped all over him..just doing the softly softly approach and sitting with them and feeding them from my hand..but anyway, they've got huge! Or so it seems. I have a feeling I'm always going to want a bigger and bigger cage lol. Love love love them.

Not such a great start to the day, mouth full of coffee, got a tickle in my throat..coffee everywhere *rolls eyes* :)
