Pig noises!

Hi,

I know there are threads with sounds on there but I can't do it on the work PC! so I need to ask, my pigs were snuggled up this morning together inside their little cave and were making what I can only describe as the noises pigeons make. They have done this before when they were scared of me but I think it was higher pitched then.

You don't think they were arguing do you because they were in the same bed?

If it was a a fairly high pitched bird noise, that's their communication chatter which indicates that all is OK and means that they are starting to relax.

If it was a kind of rrrrrrr rumble, then there is a discussion about who is top piggy.

At that stage, any noises are a good sign. They are no longer feeling like they are in hostile territory anymore! Young guinea pigs are usually proper chatter boxes and are only quiet when they are asleep or stuffing themselves!
