Pig noise translating

Sorry - it sounds like they're talking to each other and maybe trying to work something out but it might help the experts to see a video or have a bit of background. Are these pigs new to each other or well established? Are you worried that they're falling out?!

2 boars, 1 is around 16 weeks (DOB unknown) and the other is 12 weeks old (accurate). They bonded after a week of the underpiggy regularly squealing submission(nothing more), about a month ago. This noise has started past 2 days.

New sound and guide with sound board did not hear this to know.

Is the younger one the under piggy? The older one is at the start of their teenage months so you will see a lot more dominance behaviour, including mounting, chasing, teeth chattering and humping. They get hormone spikes as well, and although the hormones die down a little, they are still there. So there can be an occasional spike after 15 months of age.

Just be careful not to intervene too quickly. I’m sure you’ve been linked to the behaviour guidelines so I won’t again 😊

Yes :) Younger one is underpiggy(profile pic) Woo I now have a teenage boar :luv: Getting older soon so the testosterone kicking in has returned to dominance. I had not heard that type of submissions squeak. It was a different pitch to normal .thanks.

There is still happiness, one was running laps jumping and very high pitched squeak which from reading means v happy pig
