Great views. And looks a pleasant day, too. Hope you had a lovely time with your friend. Must be great living so near to the water.
Last year we did a day cruise down the Manchester Ship canal from Salford Quays to Liverpool. Got the most stunning views across the River Mersey of the Liverpool waterfront. It stops at the U boat museum at Seacombe. I think it’s Mersey Ferries who operate it.

Last time we lived up this way Liverpool was just getting a makeover so looking forward to seeing the job done now we’re back again

I may well have to do just that! OH will probably want to combine it with a caravan holiday! I'll have a look at the Caravan Club website to see if there are any sites near the Wirral.
