Picky piggys

So my 3 pigs never gave me a problem with eatting hay I just knew they all loved the Timothy hay the best an now all of a sudden there picky I bought three different brands an there just picking through it ha want to make sure there getting enough nutrients there all healthy an there all eatting there greens just wondering why now there all picky

There are many reasons - different batches of hay can taste different due to different growing conditions, perhaps they would prefer something other than Timothy. I feed meadow hay and orchard hay - they like the variety plus meadow hay is made up of different type is grasses so just that one type of hay is full of variety.

Ultimately the best thing for you to do is make sure you keep up with the routine weight checks to make sure they are maintaining their weights
