Picky guinea pigs

So after my last post I decided to order some Piggie Parcels pellets. Well, we’ve followed the change over instructions, and 2 out of my 6 boys won’t eat them! Honestly, they’d rather starve. They have had a little bit of Selective Grain Free still mixed in and they just ate that, but that has ran out so now it’s just the Piggie Pellets and I don’t know if I want to give in and order something else that they will eat, or keep “starving” them…

Given they are the smallest part of the diet, I wouldn’t worry too much if they don’t eat them.

My girls were the same. I changed them over to harringtons (what my boys were on at that time) but they refused to eat them, even when mixed in. I just scatter fed them/put in a bowl and they eventually started to eat them. But I didn’t stress too much about it.

Luckily the change to hay box pellets wasn’t as bad for all of them.
