Junior Guinea Pig
Cotton is my biggest and oldest pig (about a year old, 2 lbs and 2.9 oz) -> (about 1300 grams). She's always been a very shy and cautious girl from the start, but she almost always comes to the cage when she hears the veggie and hay containers opening up.
she also shows interest whenever I'm handing out veggies, but she doesn't seem to like what I give her - carrots, bell peppers and cucumbers. I also give romaine lettuce, kale, parsley, and cherry tomatoes which seem to be some of the only veggies she's willing to take (just barely).
The other pigs seem to enjoy these (although I admit that I cycle around these same foods and even the other pis get sick of them time to time as well). I'm more positive that she's just being very very picky compared to the other pigs, but there's also the possibility of her being sick and she's losing her appetite.
Then again, shes pretty big and heavy and I haven't seen any weight loss at all which is good. It would be great to hear something from anyone who is familiar with this behavior with food!
