Sonnet and Kindle are enjoying their first fleece lining! I've been using old towels because, very simply, fleece is expensive and towels made sense to use because they're absorbent and look nice. But I've recently discovered that holiday church sales are an amazingly affordable and rich source of fleeces of all sizes and colors, so my babies are making the switch to what seems to be the popular lining here and we'll see how it stands up!

Tip for cheap fleece - I recently got fleeces in Primark for £2.80 each and lovely ones in Ikea for only £1.75! the Ikea ones are pictured below. They washed very well.

I use fleeces from ikea and penny's ( Ireland's primark) and they are great.

I'll check out Ikea online but I'm afraid we have no Primark unless that's like Walmart? I'm American, darlings! ^_^ But I'm going to keep trawling the holiday rummage sales around here, that seems to be working nicely for me. :)

Also, I found the biggest carrot ever to spoil them more with:

Also, pigmumsar, that is a gorgeous enclosure you have for your pibs!

I don't know what your dimensions are but walmart has fleece blankets 50×60 inch for $2.88. They come in some pretty colors.

I have finally proven myself to be a Good Mother and gone and restocked on some essentials.

New toys... because I know what Kindle's favourite playthings are, but I still don't know what Sonnet likes! So far, she's terrified of them. :P I really hope she'll like that tug-and-shred bird ribbon, though, once she figures out that's what it's good for. She's a nibbler and a tugger at clothing and cage liners!

New Timothy hay! Because I accidentally bought alfalfa before... and they LOVED it, but only ate perhaps a quarter of its bulk at best.

Ad this is just to show them off, because they refused to participate in a photoshoot with any of their new things and went and hid in the cathouse every time I took the camera out. Silly pibs.
