Please could I see photos of your C&C cages with ramps up to a second level. I'm looking for ideas how to make one and attach so they are safe and secure for my two new boisterous boys Gus and Jacques who love to race!
They are in a 4 by 2 C&C which I'd love to extend but I won't be able to get out of the door if I do so we're going to extend upwards instead!

Thanks

Kate

a double ramp, made from a plastic drainpipe, sawn in half and drilled holes in to cable tie together plus cable tie to the top level

I'm not c&c. It it doesn't matter,extra floor to a 140 cage...

flis flos or flossie modelling the extra floor space.

Similar to pepperdog, guttering with carpet glued on. I drilled holes in one end and threaded cale ties through and fastened to grid flooring. Jack bombs it up and down the ramp like crazy...

Oh this has given me an idea for a balcony style tier with ramp! What do you use for the extra floating floor and what do you use to secure it?!

my thread cc cage, ramp is made from PVC window sill stuff :)

Here's some shots of our ramp. It's made by carefully bending two of the grids and attaching them together and at the top with cable ties. It's lined with a slice of carpet tile also cable tied on. It lifts easily for cleaning and the piggies love it.

This is how my ramp used to look. It didn't take up much floor space (can run underneath it and use the bottom half as a tunnel) and I found that the guinea pigs took straight to it.
Now I don't have a ramp and just have a low layer they jump on and off

Excuse the mess, just got home from college :red

Brilliant ramps. Thanks guys you've given me lots of ideas. I think I'm going to see if I can fit in two ramps, I can see them racing up one side and down the other.
