for all the things I don't like for p@h, i do think their hutches are good, i'd go for it.

Just remember to get a hutch cover for winter and some snuggle safe heat pads if they have to be out all year round :)

They aren't out all year round, they go into a shed at winter, which I know still isn't very warm so I'm hoping to buy some heatpads soon. I'm not sure if that is the right huch I saw outside Pets at Home yesterday for £99. It looks a lot like it, but it doesn't say anything on the website about it. It looks good, but I think I'll have to keep looking :) I can't even get a new hutch until March next year (because there's no point buying one now when they won't live in it until next year) so I don't even know why I'm looking but I like new hutches :)) Thank you for the help :)

I saw that hutch outside Pets at home the other week and thought it was gorgeous. Id love to be able to have something like that :)

I have a Lazy Bones hutch. I get through a lot of wood shavings in a month, mine are quite neat and tidy and do their wees in the same places.
I attach a run to their hutch as well.
They also have a large Eglu to go in and spend a few days.

Our bunnies hutch was from P@H and it was pretty good quality, only problem was the closing latch thing, it was very stiff and then broke so we had to replace that.

hi ive got that hutch it has loads of space the only thing i have found is the back on it had a few gaps so had to put a few extra screws in it but for 99 pound its fab :(|)

Ooooo I saw this hutch today and I was EXTREMELY tempted! I was only going to get my Oko Plus cat litter but I really wanted to come away with this hutch for the boys! Its incredibly spacious because its so deep!

I have one of the cheapest Pets At Home Hutches (£60) 2ft by 4ft and its surprisingly steady! It won't however keep Percy-Roo very warm in the winter, however ive just bought a hutch hugger.

Its good value for money in my eyes, but does need extra locks for protection. Overall I'm really pleased with it :)

Thank you :) I was thinking of getting a single storey hutch but I thought that this hutch is about the same price as most of the single storey hutches I was looking at buying and it may give them a bit more space (but I know the ramp takes up some space) Sorry, but how big is the hutch in ft? I am rubbish at changing measurements to different measurements :red

If it's the Lodge or Summer Lodge or whatever they are calling it this week, its 5ft by just under 2ft and about 3ft high I guess. I have two, they will fit in a ford Ka when flatpacked with some not quite legal tilting of the front passenger seat...luckily I live 4 mins drive from P@H...

Nice hutches but even in a shed will need more than a few heat pads. We are attacking mine with polystyrene and a staple gun soon.

Hi

I have a pets at home double hutch that I don't think they sell anymore. It is very sturdy and the wood is very thick.

I think some P@H hutches are good quality for the money and some are very thin and flimsy. You need to go and have a proper look as you can't tell from a website picture

:red Oops, this is the one I saw outside Pets at Home:

Do you think that hutch is good? How many guinea-pigs do you think could live in that? Sorry

I had a look at that one for my bunny.
I had a good look over the one outside my P@H and it seemed a little wobbly and flimsy. But for what your paying then its a good sized hutch. You may just have to do it up a little and you will need a weather cover to stop it from rotting and falling apart in winter

I have two of these and another one which is very similar. Providing, that they are covered during the winter then they seem to last. We've had to add a few extra screws but that's pretty much it!
