Pet Wash Bags

Hi all,

My piggies are coming home in two weeks time (trip to Disneyland is delaying their homecoming!).

I've decided to use fleece bedding and I've ordered two cage liners from C&E cosies which use zorb as the absorbent layer and sound pretty awesome.

My washing machine is pretty precious to me as a mum with two under 5's so I can't risk it being clogged up with hair or hay. I've seen the horse wash bags on amazon which look good but wondered if anybody has any experience of them?

As an aside does anybody know if it's safe to use dettol laundry cleanser with pet bedding? The recommended wash temperature wouldn't be high enough to kill bacteria so wondered if I could use this instead?

I use the horse bags, I find them great since I changed them over from the cheap netted ones.
Not seen any hay in the drum since.
I can't answer your second question though.

I used to use this product but must admit - I just wash at 60 degrees celcius nowadays.
