Hello everyone,
I thought I would do a mini review of our carrier we used for Pepper & Pringles big trip up North. They were in the carrier for 6 hours on the way up and 4.5 hours on the way back.

Here is the bag when it’s open, it gave the piggies a good amount of space to move around, even though they thought sitting on top of each other was the best way to travel! We put some fleece in the bottom to try to protect it however our boys decided burrowing under that would be more fun!
The inside is furry, the middle section comes out and you can wash however annoyingly the side pieces do not so I have used some 1001 stain remover on those to clean it.
Here is the bag with the sides closed up, doesn’t give them much space to move around but would be fine for a quick trip to the vets.
Pros:
Good price
Good size when the sides are open and also folds up small when not in use
Lots of zip openings
Strap goes around the headrest so they were secure in the car
Cons:
Not all elements can be removed to be washed
Lots of small places for poops to get caught in!
Overall we were very happy with the bagthe pigs spent most of the time in the side pieces which I think they felt secure in, they did go for the odd wander round. Cleaning is a bit of a pain but it has come up well after I have cleaned it this morning.
I think I may try to modify it by adding some Velcro strips that I can Velcro a piece of fleece on which would stop them from burrowing and would keep the poops on the fleece.
