I would like to buy a pet camera but online reviews are always so mixed
I don't want to go so cheap it is useless but also can't afford to spend loads either
Does anyone here have one they use and would recommend?

Thanks

I have a blink mini - it’s very easy and I’ve had it for 2 yrs - the photo gives you idea of the quality - it has night mode too - it’s used thru the app and can be used on multiple devises - hope that helps

I’ve got an EZVIZ CT2QC indoor camera. Easy to install the app and it also has a magnet so can be attached directly onto C&C cage grids if that’s what you’ve got.

i’m also in search! i’ve seen the tp link tapo mini being highly reviewed but i’m not sure in guinea pig cages lol😄 i want one that records 24/7, i can view live at any time and i can watch/play back and save any clips i would like. is this something your looking for too? maybe we can help eachother!

I would just like to be able to see things when i'm not around to be honest, nothing to fancy

I looked at the cameras you have recommended to me (thankyou) and the reviews are so mixed some saying amazing and some say its not good at all

I have ordered the blink mini and will let you no what I think

Well I'm having to return the blink camera as turns out you need a certain speed that my internet doesnt have
It doesnt state this anywhere in the listing so hopefully even though I have opened the box and tried to set up they will return

I have now ordered a TP link Tapo, reviews decent and I triple checked the listing and online manual attached to listing and it mentions nothing about download speeds

Oh gosh ….what a pain ! I wasn’t aware of that as I set up my blink cameras with no problem.
I’m sure the TP link Tapo will be good !

We have a netvue orb mini that we are very happy with! Just incase the other one you have ordered isn’t suitable!

I will mention if anyone is interested in the blink camera you need a minimum upload speed of 2mbps, it doesn't state this anywhere before purchase and that's important information

The tapo I bought set up was so easy and so far I'm really shocked how good it is for the price £35
The quality is clear and you can rotate the camera from your phone
I was able to watch the pigs from work last night with no problems

I didn't even think about that, my speed is just short of 80 meg. 👍

I have the blink mini too its ok. We have a few of them in different areas of the home and bought the sync2 module and usb so we can record on them. And it seems to make them respond quicker
