We have noticed Pepper looks to be struggling to poop a bit and his poos seem to be a lot smaller and darker than normal and vs Pringles. His tummy feels fine it’s not hard, should we take him off veggies for a few days and get him some probiotic?
He seems himself and his weight is fine.

Different guinea pigs can have different sized poops to each other. But if Pepper's poops are smaller than what is normal for him, then that means he is eating less than usual which could be due to any number of reasons. He will need to be seen by a vet for a diagnosis as to the cause. I wouldn't take him off veggies but would start weighing him every day and if he is losing weight you will need to start syringe feeding him too.

Thanks you, he seems to be eating the same bit obviously we cannot tell, it was the struggling we were concerned about mostly. We weigh him weekly his was at the lower end of what’s normal for him but I will weigh him daily to make sure that it’s not a downward trend!
