Pepper has Hurt his Paw/ Leg

We noticed last night Pepper had been snoozing a lot, I went to beck him over and he has a limp!
His leg and some of his paw look bruised, no idea what he has done, still hopping around okay and jumping up at the side for food!
Hopefully we can get into the vets today!
 
Poor Pepper. Hope it’s nothing too serious and you are soon on the mend. Sending lots of healing vibes your way.
 
Hoping Pepper is OK! Piggies are able to choose the best times to need the vet aren't they? Hopefully all it'll be is a bit of Metacam.
 
Oh Pepper, what have you done!? Hope you’ve not been doing that jumping lark to worry your mum you naughty boy!

Just got back from the vets! Nothing to serious it’s swollen and bruised up the inside of his leg, but she couldn’t feel and breaks or fractures and he wasn’t reacting that he was in lots of pain.
He has some Metacam for a few days and if it’s not looking any better next week he is to go back!
So glad we were able to get him seen he does pick his moments!

Definitely picks his moments, but better than tomorrow I guess Pepper! 🙄😆
So glad he’s not badly hurt, hope he rests that leg and heals quickly bless him x

All the best! At least it cannot be too serious if he is still getting around happily hopping and jumping!
 
He may need some painkiller/antiinflamatory. If you can't get an appointment before Christmas as if they can prescribe some for him.

He is on Metacam we went this morning 😊
 
Oh dear Pepper, what have you been up to? Hope he’s feeling better soon.

Glad it’s not stopped him begging for food or upset his appetite! Hope the metacam does it’s trick and he’s back to non limping begging asap.
