Penny is currently having a stasis episode. She is bloated, not eating, drinking, or active. I’ve given her cisapride and critical care already. I just called the vet and neither exotic vet is in today. Is there anything else I can do here at home to help her out?

I’m so sorry! Would any of the other vets be able to see her and consult the exotic vets?

Thanks for your kind words everyone! Penny has been very active tonight :) she’s been drinking, eating and pooping! I gave her more critical care to be on the safe side

I'm glad she looks to have perked up. Weigh her every day for the next couple of weeks so you can be sure she really is eating enough, and continue critical care.
Bloat can come in waves so please do keep a close eye on her and seek veterinary advice
