Pegs to keep fleece in place?

Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a stupid question but are there any wooden clothes pegs that are safe for piggies to have a nibble on?
I was thinking of using them to peg fleece to the mesh of my hutch?

I use bulldog clips on the grids, not sure if the little ones that could fit through the mesh would be strong enough but might be worth a try.

The mesh/grids on the hutch are much bigger and thicker than normal mesh so it might fit through the gaps.

I've got plastic clothes pegs. They've never shown any interest in them
