When I first purchased Marjorine and Butters, we kept them in seperate Super Pet cages because we didn't want any guinea babies.

So when they had their own cages, they both had this cage here:

After Marjorine passed away and we got another girl piggie named Peanut, we bought them this cage here:

Between Marjorine and Peanut, while Butters was alone, we actually put the two superpet cages together and put c&c grid around the edges so she had more room in the meantime.

Obviously, the two story cage is a major upgrade, and my pigs are a lot happier!

Here are some random pics of my pigs!

bottom level - it looks messy, but it's just hay that's been scattered.

every day they get out of their cage and run along either the hallway or a cornered off part of the house, and when it's sunny enough outside, we let them nibble on the clover in my backyard!

any thoughts, suggestions, concerns? I'm new to this, so please let me know!

haha, I know it looks like they're trapped - the whole top lid, and front walls for the bottom and top clip off on the sides. We use binder clips to hold the sides up, and you just take them off to let down the sides and reach in. This way we can use both hands and not have to reach in through a small opening.

I posted a link up above to the ebay store I purchased it from. It was slightly on the more expensive side, around $200, but it was totally worth it. It did, however, take a couple hours to put together. Luckily, instructions were included...@)

You let your piggies lose in the garden! mine would love that exept there would a)be poo everywhere b)we have some poisionous plants c)i would never catch them! d)they would escape and e)a cat or bird would hurt them

What loverly piggies and a fabulous cage too :) x

Thanks! xx>>>

When they do get to run outside, it's under very close supervision, so my fiance and I are on either side of where we allow them to be. This way, if they try to go outside their 'limit', we simply usher them back towards the safe zone.

aaaaw adore pics of your piggies.............and your doggy.

Did your dog grow up with piggies and did you teach your dog not to hurt piggies?

Amazing LOL

If I had a dog I would have a chihuahua too :))

both of my dogs need to be watched closely when with my piggies of course, I never let them be together alone. Mole`, my little black dog, I don't let near my pigs because she's part terrier - she likes to try to nip at them when I pick them up...

and Churro, I know her well enough that I can tell when she gets tense and needs to be removed from the pig zone. Most of the time she's perfectly fine, until Butters comes over and nips at her paws. Butters is super dominant, and even tries to rule over my dogs! So both my dogs get nervous and tense around her... But! everyone gets along with Peanut. =]
