:twist::twist: My two 3 year old guinea pigs in the past year have developed a habit of chewing up their cage, and their bedding and destroying every hut and hide out I’ve bought them. I’ve tried chew toys and moving them away when they are in the act, but nothing seems to work, they also have more than enough hay in their cage. My other two piggies don’t have this bad habit. Any help is very appreciated ✨ as I’m burning through cash just to keep their cage tidy and livable.:help:

Interesting this. piggies in my view act like this if they unhappy with something .
Are they in a big enough space and got things to do.
I'm 100% not criticizing . .on this forum are threads about all sort piggie related including behaviours. hope they help.
Looking at your pigture can't belive them lol.

The only chewing thing mine will use is the straw houses you buy online. I sometimes just give them one panel at a time so one house can last a long time. Not sure about the meaning of the chewing.

Hi

Some piggies just love messing up things; I have had my own life long battles with some piggies who would mess up the cage to their liking the moment they returned after a cage clean.

Try some of the tips in our enrichment guide and concentrate on cheap things that cater to their destructive streak, which many piggies have.
