Hiya,

Our boy looks like he might have pea eye but we’re not sure if it’s got infected?

The little white bit has been there for a few months and hasn’t been bothering him, other than his eye is always watery.

Today it looks bigger than it has done before, and more pinky red? How urgent of a vet trip is this if we need to go, can it wait til Monday?

See pics (first is today, second is a week ago)

Well a couple of hours after I posted it got way worse… so we took him to the vets and she looked at his eye and did a thorough check over.

All is ok everywhere else phew. No scratches or injury to the eye either, so probably just an eye infection. We’ve got antibiotic eye drops for a week to try.

He’s had two days worth now and I can’t really see an improvement yet. Can’t really tell if it’s getting worse either... I feel like it is. Not sure whether to attempt to clean the area or to just leave it alone to do it’s thing.

He’s acting completely normal but just makes me feel so sad seeing him all manky 😭💔
