paw cleaning

Hi,

My guinea pig paws are prone to collecting bits of poo in them, between the toes, stuck under the nails and in hard to clean areas. How should I go about cleaning their paws? Thanks

I guess you could soak their paws in warm water. Or use a damp cloth to take them off.

I’ll try, it’s so difficult, my guinea pig hare their feet being touched

It may help perhaps spot cleaning a bit more.

Generally I will spot clean once in the morning and once in the evening, with a full cage clean being once a week.

Of course walking on their poop and sometimes getting messy is part of being a piggie, but you may find spot cleaning (just picking up poops etc.) would be good to do a bit more regularly if you are not already.

Yes, i spot clean about x3 a day yet still a faced with messy paws!
