Patchy Demonstrates How To Use A Tunnel

I washed my snuggle tunnel and put it back in the cage. When I went to cuddle them last night, I realised they smelled of detergent. Clean piggies! I'll have to double check those wash tabs...

The bees gets a thumbs up from me too! :D
Patch is so sweet, butter wouldn’t melt

Obviously Christian doesn’t mind his tunnel being covered in spiders :yikes:
I know I have severe arachnophobia :yikes:(anything larger than a money spider - I have to be rescued) and I am trying to overcome it. So I thought by getting a tunnel with pictures of spiders on might be a good starting point. It hasn't worked! I know the ones on the tunnel aren't real and I still scream SPIDER and get rescued very good looking men! Well every bad thing has to have a good thing right? Isn't that what Ying Yang is all about? Or is that Karma?

I always wondered how do you wash all those tunnels/ fleeces. With hay it is impossible to put them into washing machines I think.

I use a laundry bag too because I can’t find those horse wash bag thingees. Although some times our washing machine plays up with the laundry bags and I have to take the liners out of the bag and then the machine works fine after that.

I shake off as much hay as possible, turn them inside out and do the same, then shove them in a laundry bag and pop them in the washing machine. After they have been washed, I put white vinegar in the detergent drawer of the washing machine and do a quick 15 minute wash as this cleans the machine.

So many snugly piggies
