parsnip leaves

can piggies eat the leaves of parsnips?

Good question, never heard of it before... In fact I've never seen parsnip leaves. Piggies do love Carrot tops though.

Not sure, but I avoid Brussels tops! they have the same effect on piggies as they do on humans! Phew....... What a sink! Lol x. :red

parsnip tops - you grab hold of them to pull the parsnip out of the ground just like carrots! lol

They can't have parsnips(I think) so I doubt they can have the leaves... I may be wrong.

Just checked on guinealynx and they can have parsnips, good job as mine have really taken to them lately, even my really fussy old girl! Had me worried for a minute! I'm pretty sure they can have the leaves too but it didn't say on guinealynx.

Mine love parsnips - its what they pick out first when I give them a plate of mixed veg. I found somewhere on here that said they could eat the leaves too - well I gave them to the pigs in the end last night anyway and they loved them, and they're still alive this morning
