Hello. I have a 9-year-old guinea pig.

Guinea pigs have recently become paralyzed in their hind legs due to aging.

The feeding activities continue by dragging the front legs, but they spread the poop and crush it.

When the poop hardens into the hair of the guinea pig and tries to remove the poop, the hair is also pulled out.

I can see the skin now.

Please advise on how to take care of this guinea pig

I hope that you find these links very helpful. Is the paralysis caused by arthritis or is it just lack of movement? How quickly has it come on? Is your guinea pig still eating plenty of hay and holding their weight?
