Cor blimey, i'm surprised no-one else has started a thread! I've had a couple already, the good old original Lemon and Sugar, and a chocolate one which i hadn't tried before. Yummy! Recomend chocolate spread one. What else are other flovours are people going to try?
 
My parents are Pagan and I'm agnostic, so no pancake day here. o_o

...But with that said, any excuse for pancakes is as good an excuse as any. :D I may make some later.
 
lemon curd is delicious but sugar and lemon is best but being diabetic cant have too many ^-^
 
I LOVE pancakes, obviously lemon and sugar rock! - cant beat the traditional... However my other recommendations are:

Golden Syrup!! - sweet sticky and absolutely delicious!! (my personal fav)

Choc spread and sliced up banana! - very chocolatey with a nice healthy bit
Any type of Jam - sweet and fruity, YUM!
Lime and Ginger - slightly different from the norm! Quite nice if you want to give your pancakes a slight oriental feel
Fruit - Panacakes suitable for anyone - even those on a diet.
Icecream - for the weirdo inside everyone.
 
Yes it's Shrove Tuesday here also, we usually have pancakes after dinner. I put out sugar, honey, lemon juice (if i have any), jam and very rare occassions cream. Lived in Canada for 15 months and i still don't like maple syrup, but that's me :P
But my second son hasn't been the best so he's not wanted any, and nobody else here likes them except for other son (eldest) in Cardiff :)

i like mine with canadian maple syrup, yum yum.

Eughhh..I agree Kelly :P We're not having them, don't really like them! Only like them with gravy ;) (I'm not weird XD, after all they're only sweet when you add sweet stuff to them ;))
 
mine have just eaten them, damn smoke alarm was frightning the dog, think the 2 boys liam and Josh were in competition both got swollen bellys lol Carrie anne had a curry she has to be different,
 
Just eaten mine. Also had a smoke alarm incident Michelle! I had 1x Choccy spread (Cadburys), 1x lemon and sugar and 1x treacle. Couldn;t eat them all but they were yum yum yum.
 
cotreau (sorry can't spell the bl***y word) and chocolate sauce makes for a yummy feast, don't drive afterwards though :police:
 
Mmmmmmmm just had a vegan pancake with my soya ice cream and maple syrup :smitten:
 
I always have my Dad round for pancakes since we lost Mum in 2003 and is husband's birthday so mother in law came too.

Can't beat good old lemon and sugar, none of this other stuff! (Although stewed apple is quite nice too)

We gave our last dog a pancake once, put it in his bowl and he picked up one edge and gobbled, and it just went down whole!
