Wednesday was something called pancake day, which means the big slave (the boring one) gets to sit around and eat nice food.
Honestly it sounds the same as almost every day in our home really, but the little slave was excited, so I decided to be excited too.

The little slave said because it was pancake day I could have a pancake too.
The big slave was boring as usual and said ‘guinea pigs can’t actually eat pancakes’ but no one really listened, and the little slave told her that her job was to make me a guinea pig friendly pancake. She told the big slave that if she worked a little harder on being more inclusive of all family members then I might bite her less.
Technically this isn’t really true, but I liked the sound of a pancake made especially for me so I didin’t say anything (or nip the big slave).

So on pancake day I celebrated with a lettuce pancake, with a coriander and pepper topping.
It was actually delicious and I like it a lot.
The big slave did a very good job (after some prompting) and I have decided not to nip for for a few days.

I hope you fellow Forum piggies also had a good day, and your slaves made a special effort too.
If not, I am happy to pop around and nip them for you, since I am taking a break from nipping the big slave.
Please note this is a very short window of opportunity - normal nipping will resume shortly.

Love Ruby x

Dear Ruby
It’s a good job you have a little slave who fights your corner for you. We think that a lettuce pancake with herb and pepper topping sounds delicious. We are starting the campaign for one of our own but our big slave says it’s far too early to be asking for tea! Please come and give her a nip from us.
Love Evie, Iris and Boris.

Dear Ruby

I have decided on this occasion not to write to the GPU on your behalf as your big boring slave did give you a nice guinea pig pancake. I was about to send a letter but I read on further and found out that on this occasion your boring slave has actually been quite nice to you. Your Little Slave sounds lovely and we would like her to come around to teach our Slave how to make a lettuce, coriander and pepper pancake.

Lots of wheaks

Dear Ruby,
Lucky you getting a special pancake, we like the sound of your little slave, it’s good you have someone to speak up for you.
We didn’t get any pancakes- but did get a tiny bit of broccoli yesterday. Maybe we can try wheeking for lettuce pancakes later.
With wheeks and squeaks from
Hector and Hamish
