Yes, that's right - £2.39 for 7 mats. I don't know how that compares to the puppy pads that a few of you use - but this is a good time to stock up on and try the mats.

for my 6' x 2' cage I need to use 2 mats side by side. I have 2 boars in the cage and the 2 mats can stay down about 10 days.

No towels or anything else needed as the mats are so absorbant - just the mats and then one layer of fleece on top and that's all you need.

At less than 35p per mat, this has to be good value! Get on down there!

can i ask what you use these for? sorry if its a stupid question i am new to all this
:red

I use them to line my cage with then I use megazorb bedding over the top, Ive only used puppypads so tomorrow I may take a trip to Tesco.

Money money money these pigs cost so much money but they are worth it lol :)

Do you mean Huggies?

Would you say these are better than puppy mats?

Well - bless my soul, I do! My goodness - I never even noticed the change of brand! My eldest is 19 years old now (eldest child that is, not GP!) and Pampers definitely did used to make them - probably many moons ago, the packaging has never really changed in all the years! Brilliant for toddlers as well as GPS

What to use them for?

Well - in a C and C cage - all you will need is a bed mat (or 2 depending on cage size) and a fleece blanket on top.

Nothing could be easier - just shake the poos of daily and leave the bed mat down until it looks pretty well stained. These bed mats are SO absorbant you won't have any smells at all!

I have never tried the puppy mats - so I would be really interested to see what people who have tried both think is best. Are the puppy mats at large? And more economical maybe? These HUGGIES mats are good value at half price - but maybe not so at full price

do all your piggies live in the house that use these mats, i am moving mine into a playhouse in a plastis hutch for the winter and wondered if these would be ok with hay over or wouldnt they work?

No - I don't think they would be good with hay - the hay would stick to them and they would just runkle up. In a c and c cage, you place them on the floor of the cage and then the fleece blanket will hold them in position and they drain all the urine out of the fleece so the fleece stays bone dry.
