I have a 4 month old Boar and after doing some research and realizing it wont cost me hardly any more money to have two as it does one I have decided I want to get him a buddy. I would be getting a 2 month old Boar. Is my 4 month too old to be bonded to another? and How likely is it they will bond being so young? I don't want a big fight and end up having two lonely piggies, although I know there is a little bit of a chance. Please help!

i have had success with what seems like an almost exact situation that you have. i had piglet (who was pretty young at the time) and then got roger 2 weeks later (who was just a little bit younger). if i had to guess they would have been around 3 months at the time. When we first introduced them, piglet and roger engaged in what i can only describe as "pig circling" where they decide who the other pig is and what his place will be. it was a little touch and go at first, but after about an hour piglet accepted him. i think a big part of their getting along was because roger was so scared and he was relieved to finally meet another pig! now their best friends, minus the occasional "know your place" rumblestrutt that piglet does! as long as theres no blood shed, they'll be ok ;) just make sure their interaction is supervised for a while.
