Painting The Piggy Cage

Can I use flux quick dry satinwood on the outside of their cage? I wouldn't be painting anywhere inside the cage so they won't be able to chew it at all.

I bought a huge tin of it and painted my children's bunk bed with it and it didn't smell at all.

If I can't what is best to use? I've googled pet safe paint and all I can find is paint to paint an actual dog Complimented with a photo of a pink poodle

I use cuprinol garden shades for my rabbit run and shed and for my hamster cages (wooden shelving, houses and wheels).

If it's inside ,do you need to paint it ?, because it's inside , right !

The colorol paints are animal safe too. Haven't heard of the one you've got.
