Painting Living Room

Hope this is right place ? Anyway,

Living room is being painted in a few days, unfortunately not water-based. Other than one window with two openings (would be risky opening ones behind tv, things falling off window sill) we can't open anything else. Thankfully Ginny is upstairs, but I often watch shows in there with him on my lap lol. Any thoughts on how long I should keep him out of there?

Also, dining room is only a french door away. I do work in there and have Ginny in there everyday strictly until company arrives for him I could open a door in the dining room leading into the garden and shut the doors leading from the living room but worried fumes would travel heavily into the dining room nevertheless. Thanks x

I would kep him out until the smell dissipates. Gloss always gives me a horrendous head... horrible stuff, hope the room looks nice

I would definitely keep him out and away from the room until the smell is gone. Piggies have very delicate respatory systems so I imagine the smell of paint would be quite unpleasant!
