Oxbow Seniors Pellets

I was wondering does anyone use seniors oxbow pellets or is it just a scam and use regular pellets from oxbow. The senior ones are twice the price in Canada.

I'm sure one of the mods will correct me if I'm wrong but there's probably no benefit to them. They might supply more calories to stave off the weight loss that's common in the seniors but there are other options for that.

They, like with junior pellets, aren’t necessary … particularly if they are so much more expensive.

Some brands of senior feed contain added supplements for things like joints but if your piggy is struggling with things like that then you can provide an additional supplement with advice from your vet.
