Oxbow joint support as a snack

Lola is very interested in Perry’s joint support. He needs it but she technically doesn’t, although she is a senior now (she turned five in November)

Would it do her any harm to have one as well every night?

The ingredients won't be harmful or they would be harmful to all piggies whether they needed the glucosamine for their joints or not.

I can’t imagine it would do any harm at all. The ingredients are all safe and it’s not a prescribed item.

Hamish used to have an oxbow joint support biccie, I used to snap a tiny bit off for Hector. (We then started to use the 4joints liquid instead- so no extra treats!)

Hope Lola enjoys her new snack.

Thanks. Problem is she eats everything so fast so I’m sure she will be done and back with her snout in Perry’s bowl (he has his biscuit softened with some recovery food)

Her usual snack is the Small Pet Select healthy snackers (they slowed her down a lot) but they stopped doing the flavour she likes (coriander and pear)

Have you tried hay cookies? They last ages and everypig likes them. They make a mess but it's worth it to see the enjoyment.
