Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone gives their piggies the Oxbow Digestive Support Tablets . My piggies get the vitamin c tabs from this brand daily and when I went to restock I decided to buy some of this.
However, the instructions aren't very in depth and I couldn't find too much online about when you should give these to them. Info I found was quite vague.
Is anyone familiar with this ?

Most of us don’t give routine supplements unless there is a diagnosed medical need to do so. Supplementing piggies with anything shouldn’t be needed if they are healthy and have a good diet.
Is there a reason why your piggies are on these supplements?

Vitamin c supplements can be problematic. A piggy who has a good diet (Hay/grass, vit c rich veggies and a small amount of pellets) is getting all they need. Any excess vit c given by supplementation is simply going to be excreted in the urine meaning it’s a waste of money to buy the supplements. The other issue is that their bodies become used to a higher level of vit c beyond their needs. If there is then a sudden stop in supplementation of vit c their bodies can react with scurvy symptoms.
