We had adopted 1 year old Owlie from a shelter 4 days after Nibbler was showing signs of depression after having lost his longtime brother, Yancy. We weren’t sure if Owlie was going to be a good fit as we went against the grain in terms of not matching Nibbler with a similar age or sized companion.

The bonding was ultimately successful, but we must have awakened something in him. He is unlike any piggy we’ve ever had…
