My year-old sow is 920g, which I've heard is quite overweight. My other one is 820g. I think this is because I got the lighter one a few days after the overweight, so a "pecking order" has developed. Therefore the overweight one gets all the first servings of food and the other gets the leftovers. Does anyone have any ideas how to help Milly lose weight?

My sow is 980g but I think she is a good healthy size. My boar is 1.1kg. I don't think you need to worry too much. Have a look on the weigh in thread and see what other peoples piggy's weigh.

I have only just read the second part of your question. Try putting 2 lots of hay and bowls of food in the cage. This way no one gets their nose pushed out.

thanks luckily I actually have a spare hay rack and a spare food bowl so that worked out
