New Born Pup
Hi everyone,
I took one of my girls (4 yrs) into the vet as I thought she may have had a respiratory infection (she was sneezing more than normal) and found out she has two 5cm ovarian cysts.
She has lost a lot of weight over the past year - I did not notice because the cysts made her look chunky. The vet has advised she is not in a healthy state right now.
She said the best solution would be to spay her, however due to her weight/health, the risk is very high and she most likely wouldn’t survive.
The vet said she wasn’t in any pain when she applied pressure to them and that her quality of life is still there. I was told to basically wait until she is not okay to put her down.
I’m just wondering if anyone else has been through this and what they did?
Thank you,
