When is everyone letting their outdor piggies back in to their outside homes?

My two have a good indoor setup but their outdoor house is much better and bigger. We've had a few mild days and nights now but still the odd frosty morning so not quite time for them to go back out.

I can tell they are getting a bit restless although my inner selfishness likes them in for the easy access snuggles.

When do you usually decide its time?

I'd like to know this as well as although my girls usually live outdoors all year round, I brought them in when we had the really bad cold snap where they have been since. Their indoor set up is way to small for them although at least they have been warm.

Not until around April
Though last winter I had three guinea pigs in one big hutch and now I have two pairs and two boars on their own and only one hutch :/ hmm so me thinks that they wont all be outdoor piglets

I usualy do it around March. Is there a set temp I should be aiming for?

Think it would depend on your set up, your piggies general health etc.

I have left all but two of my piggies outside. The two that are indoors were born with twisted spines and are older piggies. They have a pritty poor outside hutch (being revamped). Wish i could afford to have another built for them!

I'm going to wait till last March to early April...I wanna make sure all the snow's out the way haha! Last year we still had snow at Easter >.<
I think its gotta be pretty warm for my piggies, as they've been in since September

Not till late april...to chilly bbrrr :))

Mine didn't come in until late October just before bonfire night. They are in the kitchen which can get pretty cold on a night time due to rubbish double glazing and the oldest stable door in the world rolleyes

They do have the luxury of heating twice a day though so not sure how hardy they will be
