I'm new to here and having had a rocky start to piggy ownership am now finding my feet. Anyhoos, I have a Trixie Natura Hutch and run, but as piggie is still only small she's indoors for now and I'm introducing outside play when I'm around.

Imagine my suprise when I couldn't find her today :{ Seems she's too smal and the bars don't hold her yet lol. Anyway - found her nibbing my parsley, but it puts a scupper to my plans of putting her outside whilst I am at work and bringing her in at nights till she has a friend.

Any suggestions from you peeps as to how to keep her in? I'd let her roam as garden is safe but next door have a cat :(

wow she must be teeny :)

i had to get some mesh and cover the bottom of my runs when one of my babies was so small could fit through the bars.. its just a few inches from ground level and tacked on.. hope that helps, although i wouldnt leave her just in case :)) x

Thanks for that she is small (apparantly 9 weeks now, but not so sure), it' a rabbit run (attaches to hutch) so may be a few weeks before she's big enough. Would wire that I use for a trellis for my veg be ok to weave in and out? I got such a fright today only went on school run and couldn't find her when I got back.

as long as it isnt sharp, should be fine. I got some chicken wire from poundland..

bet you got a right shock! I had 3 bunnies escape from my garden a few weeks back, i was in tears lol x

No its not sharp (but not sure it won't be if the pastic is chewed though), think Ill just keep an eye and use it supervised till she's bigger as I don't want another worry like that. Thanks for your help, I will get used to this eventually lol
