Outside On The Grass

I want to give my girls the benefit of an afternoon on the grass. They love fresh grass and have been grazing on summer afternoons. However, the grass is very wet from rain, melted frost etc. I feel very mean keeping them in their hutches - although they do come into the house for a run around - but I'm worried about putting them on wet grass, even tho' the weather is warm. Advice please.

I would recommend not to; dampness in the ground can cause urinary tract infection.

Its hard having to refuse them my boys keep running up to the garden hatch and sitting patiently waiting for me to open it and I have to distract them with a treat
