We've got a run ready for our girls for (supervised) use in the better weather. Any suggestions as to what hideys would work well outside - or I guess we could just lift the ones out from their indoor enclosure? Any hints and tips and to what your fur babies enjoy in their runs?

It depends what your normal indoor hides are.
It’s best to avoid any plastic hides outside due to them getting hot.
I just use my piggies normal hides in their runs but mine are all wooden

Thank you. Ours are wooden too - each with two exits. We could just take those out though I wondered about keeping one in there as our daughter tends to shed hay all over the room every time she lifts out a run (or a pig for that matter!)

I’d not keep it out there - it won’t take long for a wooden hide to be destroyed in a wet summer.
You could have outdoor hides and indoor hides and perhaps keep the outdoor ones in a shed so they’re protected when not in use

I use plastic foot stools outside. They don't overheat as they are not enclosed, they are used as hides and tunnels to run through are easy to wash and the piggies love them.
