Hi,

My 3 piggies have a hutch with attached run and live in my garage (cool in summer, warm in winter). I try to put them out on the lawn as much as I can but have to say it's a pain to get their wooden run in and out of the garage door (2 person job!). I was looking for a cheapish collapsible run just for use outside - I've been looking at the metal ones but they get mixed reviews re:quality and also the gaps between the bars look quite big.

Just wondered if anyone has one already they can recommend? I was looking at this one on Amazon

Thanks xx

I have a wooden collapsible one but as I bought it from a rescues auction I have no idea on brands/makes in afraid!

I had the one you're showing there but felt it wasn't sturdy enough against predators (a lot of cats and birds of prey where I live) so I opted for a more sturdy, folding run :)

Something like this but bigger.

A small company called Riverside Hutches makes collapsible wooden runs. The top lifts off and then the sides are hinged so can fold up flat.

I don't have one, so can't comment on their reliability, strength etc, but I'm thinking of getting one when my present non-folding one gives up the ghost. Unfortunately the company is updating its website at the mo, so I don't know prices either, you would have to email or phone.
