Outdoor Run

My guinea pigs are kept indoor in the winter but go out for the summer. I have four of them and they have a nice big hutch and I’ve got them a bigger run for this year.

What flooring do people have in their run? I was thinking of getting wood chips but I’ve seen some negative reviews. I use megazorb inside the hutch, so I need something that is ok to get rained on. It’s going onto paving so I can’t just have it as grass.

I've seen people use rubber matting. (like stable matting.)

I used rubber stable mats for underneath my rabbits run - they work really well but they are expensive!
