Over the last few weeks next door have got a cat. This cat goes to the toilet all over our (slightly overgrown) lawn, and in our flowerbeds everywhere. This means when it is a nice day I'm reluctant to but the pigs outside because I don't want them eating any contaminated grass.
Has anyone got any cat scaring methods that are pig-friendly. I assume those ultra-sonic devices would be nasty to my pigs ears too. And anything you scatter (I believe pepper can be good at deterring?) I don't want the pigs to ear. I tend to pick up the run when not in use, not leaving it on the grass as I don't want the wood to get soggy and rot...is the only sensible option to leave the run in the grass so there is that square for the pigs that's uncontaminated?
Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can provide.
