Hi to everyone especially to outdoor piggie owners as the question is mostly about warmth in cold weather.

What is your favourite hidey bed for your piggies at night?

Mine currently have a fleece pouch with a snuggle safe underneath. The pouch has an opening but it tends to get sat on so they don't really have a cosy hidey if that makes sense. Am thinking of something new to use in their bed area at night.
They have other things in their hutch but I want to make sure they are as cosy as possible especially at night.

Other ideas:
Box with lots of hay (but can't use the snugglesafe)
Fleece house with snugglesafe underneath
Fleece helmet style bed with snugglesafe underneath

Have a 5ft hutch so there is room to put a couple of beds in but mine like to share too!

What do you think?

Our boys have a pigloo each, filled up with lots of hay to keep the warm. We then put their snuggle safe warmers underneath the igloos which really do radiate through nicely. We re-heat their pads three times a day when necessary.

They have a wooden table over their hutch with a silver warmth protector and a fleece to protect them from the elements. I am constantly surprised that when the temperature drops they're quite often not in their bedroom but sat out and about where the front is more open.

The hutch is very well protected and against our outside wall which houses the boiler.

I just pack their living area with lots of hay and have lots of piggy houses around the shed filled with hay so they have lots of places to hide and snuggle.

Mine love their snuggley pyramid bed I made to snuggle into, they also like their cardboard box stuffed with hay (its lined with bubble wrap and fleece stapled over the top) :) They also like their wooden house it can be very warm and cosy on cold nights :)

I donated to a rescue I foster for for their outdoor piggies.

The opening stays open even after been sat on, and these ones I had made with a snugglesafe heat pad pocket built in, and were the 'Ultra warm' type
