Hi all
Been awhile since being on here. Cookie and Cream are settled in well
After the lockdown we are moving to a house with a bigger garden and I was looking for advice
I am planning on keeping them in at night but whilst the weather is mild letting them out to enjoy the garden during the day whilst we’re at work
The set up will be on paving stones so they are close to the house and a plus for sweeping up after
Has anyone any recommendations or ideas of something that will give them plenty of space to run and hide I was pretty much think about a run that I can collapse down and put away in the ginnel
Thanks

Bunny business make foldable runs. But please don't attach the hinged lid like they instruct you to do because it will stop you being able to fold the run. I have two of them and they store really neatly (folded) at the side of my garden shed

Or they so this one that looks like you can attach their hutch to...

I think paving stones might be hard on their footsies though 😣

Yes I was thinking that but planning on putting stuff down like a tray of grass and soil, tray of hay etc and putting soft fleece bedding in a couple of hides. My other concern is that it’s a south facing garden not overlooked at the back and could get quite warm thinking about shade etc

The run I have is the first ebay item I attached so it has some solid wood on the roof and walls at one end, but that depends where the sun is, whether it gives shade.

For when it's too wet or cold for my pigs to go outside on the grass, I bought some of the coated tablecloth type material that The Range sell to put down on the garage floor. It's not absorbant, but can be easily wiped down, and I've been using it in this sunny hot weather to cover the top of the run when they're in it on the grass. It protects their feet on the concrete garage floor and protects the garage floor from their pee and poop!
